180° Vertical

Description

The 180° vertical, through-hole series mounts upright on the PCB with the mating mouth facing straight up, which is how almost every wall charger, power strip and USB adapter is built. Because the plug pushes down into the board, the through-hole shell legs and the board-lock pegs carry the full insertion load — this is why the 180° family is offered with kinked board locks and straight or kinked tabs across a wide shell length range.

Shell lengths run from 13.0 mm to 20.5 mm, with rolled-edge or non-flanged mouths, white, blue or beige insulators, and optional rear insert versions that close the back of the shield against flux and debris. Single-deck construction keeps the part to one port height, so it fits low-cost adapters as easily as premium chargers.
